In Malaysia there are very few FJRs on the roads as most riders
prefer supersport bikes and cost is also a factor. A new FJR cost about
US 31,700 on the road.
Recently i got in touch with a fellow FJR rider and we planned to take a
ride to the nearby Bagan Lalang beach. As i'm still in the running in
period we rode at around 120-130kmph.After the Sepang F1 track the
road went through villages and palm oil plantations and there were few
cars out that day.
After riding along the beach we had a late breakfast and took a nice ride back.
Just finished my first 1000km with this ride and after the 1st service
i hope to get to know the bike beter ; )

A couple of friends and myself decided to go for a ride to our very
own KIC aka Klawang International Circuit aka Malaysia's version
of the Deals Gap's dragon. Its a lovely stretch of beautiful pavement,
curves ,uphill and downhill banks and cambers.
On the way to KIC we stopped at the Semenyih Dam for some pics then it
was time for fun.
I didn't take any pics of the roads there as i was too busy RIDING ; )
After a break at the end of the circuit we took the freeway home and
promptly got lost (kinda) on a new freeway.
But it joined up to the main way home and it was smooth sailing all the
way.
The bike was really easy to ride in the extremely curvy roads of Kuala
Klawang and on the freeway back even with rain and wet and windy
conditions the bike was rock steady.
I've still got a lot to learn about my ride but so far things are looking good.

Finally my new bike has arrived.Actually the bike came two weeks ago sans
papers so i haven't ridden it out of my housing area.
Friday evening i got the grant and tax disc.Saturday morning on the road ; )
Being that this is my first ride with this bike on the open road i didn't know
what to expect.
I decided to take a ride to the administrative capital of Malaysia i.e Putrajaya.
This is a planned city built for the administrative and support staff of almost
all the ministries in this country.
The ride there was not slow but being as its a new bike and still in the running
in period i took a nice ride mainly to get a feel of the bike.
And what a feel it was -- bloody hell .this thing corners as if its on rails.
Stability is awesome . And wind effect is so much less than the other
bikes i've ridden .
I'll put a more detailed assesment once i've got some miles under my
shaftdrive ; )
My new baby ; )
Main street of Putrajaya.
Being a public holiday the roads were quiet
